William "Neal" Evans

William Neal Evans, 68 years old, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Center for Hospice in Mishawaka.

Neal was born on January 17, 1957 in Greensboro, NC to the late Billy Ernest and Patricia (Neal) Evans. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Bryan Evans, Michael Stevens Evans, and Christopher Scott Evans.

Left to cherish their memory of Neal is the love of his life, Debbie Butler; daughters, Jessica Evans and Rachel Evans; siblings, Shelly Lappin, Kevin Evans, Lisa Coleman and Betsy Evans: a stepson, Clint Butler; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Butler; and sister-in-law, Lynn Evans.

Neal was incredibly gifted with his hands. He loved to tinker with anything and everything and he had every tool imaginable. He enjoyed woodworking and was always remodeling around his home or others. Recently, Neal worked for Precision Woods for 12 years and he absolutely loved it. Above all, Neal adored Debbie, his family, and his pride and joy Beagle, Willy.

At this time, there will be no services for Neal. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
