Warren Ganser Obituary

Warren Ganser, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Warren was born on May 23, 1958 in Mishawaka, to Frederick and Lois (Blake) Ganser. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Greg Ganser.

Left to cherish the memories of Warren, is the love of his life, Annie Ganser; children, Mary (Francis) McDonald, Olivia (Graham) Gates, Alex Ganser; grandchildren, Flora, Pax, Ollie Mae, River, and yet to be born grandchild McDonald, and Frederick Warren and Lila Gates; brother, Mark Ganser; sister, Chris Judah-Lauder; and many nieces and nephews.

Warren grew up on the St. Joseph River and loved spending time on the boat, especially when entertaining family and friends. He enjoyed many friendships, some going all the way back to the second grade. Warren always saw the good in everyone and had a positive outlook on life. He was a big tinkerer, and he always had a project going or a puzzle to solve. Warren was a member and usher at St. Monica Parish, where he spent many hours volunteering with upkeep in the church and school. As a passionate fan of Notre Dame football, he ushered at the stadium for many years.  Warren recently retired from his family business that was started in the fifties, Fred & Jim's Garage, where he enjoyed working with his father. More than anything, he loved being a daddy and a Dzia Dzia. He was joyful, gentle, and kind, leading his family with quiet strength in their relationship with Christ. He was a devoted husband of 35 years. His abiding love and humble service to the love of his life leaves his children and grandchildren an example to follow and a legacy to fulfill.
