Victoriano "Vic" Ramirez

Victoriano “Vic” Ramirez, 80 years old, passed away at home on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Victoriano was born on December 03, 1943 in San Marcos, TX to the late Victoriano and Maria (Esparza) Ramirez. He is also preceded in death by his son, John Ramirez; and brothers, Remijio “Ray” Ramirez and Ismael “Bobby” Ramirez. On August 2, 1986, Vic married the love of his life, Diane Mary (Zane) Ramirez.

Left to cherish the memory of Vic is his loving wife of 38 years, Diane Ramirez; children, Victoria (Jose) Sandoval, Jamie Zane, Damian (Teresa) Ramirez, and Alicia (John) DeLeon; brothers & sisters, Jose “Joe” Ramirez, Juan (Linda) Ramirez, Lucia “Lucy” (John) Moreno, and Anna (Francisco) Lopez; grandchildren, Josiah & Raya DeLeon, and several more.

Vic worked for Smurfit-Stone Container for many years. He enjoyed gardening and growing various types of peppers. Vic loved music; his favorite artist was Stevie Ray Vaughn. He also enjoyed cookouts, occasionally including some karaoke. Vic had a good sense of humor, always joking around. He liked to invent things out of little gadgets. Vic loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He really enjoyed watching his grandson's little league games.

Visitation for Vic will be 4:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 and 10:00am-1:00pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, Mayflower Rd.
