Victor Antkowiak

Victor Antkowiak, 83, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Memorial Hospital.

Victor was born on September 10, 1940 in South Bend to Chester Antkowiak and Eleanor (Winnicki) Antkowiak. Victor was preceded in death by his parents and son, Dillion Antkowiak.

Left to cherish Victor’s memory is his loving wife of 56 years, RoseAnn (Petzold) Antkowiak; daughter, Natashia (Dan) Klipich; granddaughter, Jordan Klipich and great-granddaughter, Marley Ganger and granddaughter, Jocelyn Rustman.

Vic graduated Washington High School class of 1958. After graduation, he worked for Studebaker until joining the United States Navy in 1960. He proudly served on the Naval Submarines USS Tench and USS Conger. Soon after returning home, Vic met loving wife, RoseAnn, they were married on February 4, 1967. He then worked as an electrician for Bendix Corp until retiring. Vic was a member of the American Legion, the Studebaker Club, and various other car clubs. He was a very good machinist and mechanic, always working on cars. He loved watching old movies, cooking, and reading.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:30am, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:30am, on Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Joseph Funeral Home.
