Thomas R Meuleman, 84 years old, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Healthwin Nursing Facility South Bend.
Tom was born on December 13, 1940 in South Bend, to the late Ray and Clara (Sobczak) Meuleman. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Meuleman; and nephew, Brett Meuleman.
Left to cherish the memory of Tom are his siblings, Dennis (Marsha) Meuleman of South Bend, Roger (Jan) Meuleman of South Bend, Melanie (Loren) Lenth of Luana, IA; sister-in-law, Betty Meuleman of Diamond City, AR; as well as his nieces and nephews, Denise, Jerry, David, Marshall, Amanda, Ashley, Jack, Kenny Jr., and Mike.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Navy in the 1960s. His greatest passion was fishing with his buddies at PNA Fisherman’s Club, especially with his best friends and fishing partners, Gregg Heyde and Randy Jesensky. He won fisherman of the year in 1995; he was a master Crappie angler. Tom was also a member of the PNA 83 where he won over many hearts as a Bartender.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Bavo Catholic Church, 502 W. 7th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544, with a visitation to begin at 10:00 am at church. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd, South Bend, IN 46619, with military honors to be performed at 7:00pm. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery South Bend.
