Thomas Leonard Fisher

Thomas Leonard Fisher, 79, passed away on Monday, December 09, 2024.

Tom was born on October 09, 1945 in Chicago, IL to the late Adolph and Elizabeth Jane Glodawski. He is also preceded in death by his step-father, Don Fisher.

Left to cherish the memory of Tom is his loving wife, Mary Fisher; children, Matthew Fisher, and Gwen Moyer; sisters, Linda Fisher, Karen Brown; grandchildren, Chase Moyer, Steven Moyer, David Moyer, Elena Moyer; and of course, his dog, Odie.

Tom proudly served his country in the National Guard, which is part of the Navy, serving two terms in Vietnam. Tom was a member of Legion Post 357. He lived in Michigan for a period of time and was involved in the Masonry Lodge. Tom was an avid bookworm and loved reading in his downtime. He frequently browsed the computer; trading stocks, watching his shows, and he very much enjoyed a good conversation about politics.

Visitation for Tom will be 12:00 to 2:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2024 St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN 46619 with a Memorial Service to begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow to St. Joseph Cemetery.
