Tanya Marie Czarnecki

Tanya Marie Czarnecki, 38 years old, peacefully passed away in her home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Tanya was born on August 6, 1987 in South Bend, to Richard Czarnecki and Linda (Sampson) Yoder. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Czarnecki; grandparents, Mary & Lester Sampson, and Anthony & Loretta Czarnecki.

Left to cherish the memory of Tanya is her loving mother, Linda (Scott Graff) Yoder; siblings, David (Heather) Sampson, Sherry (Christopher) Reinking, and Cory Czarnecki; niece and nephews, Nathaniel, Mikayla, and Luke; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tanya was a big hit with all her teachers and classmates at O'Brien Pre School, McKinley Elementary School, and Edison Middle School. She exuded joy - always having a smile on her face. Tanya enjoyed listening to her books on tape. Although she never was able to walk or talk, she taught others so much throughout her life. Tanya earned her wings.  She will be truly missed.
The family would like to thank Angela Straughn from Maxim Healthcare for her dedicated service as her nurse for 8 years. They would also like to say thank you to Dr. Kozak and Dr. Toth, the South Bend Fire Dept Engine #9, Transpo Access, Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago, and Riley’s Children Hospital for all of their care and help throughout Tanya’s life.

Visitation for Tanya will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2025 at St. Joseph Funeral, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Funeral Service to begin at 6:00 pm in the Funeral Home. 

Donations in honor of Tanya Marie Czarnecki may be made out to the family for funeral expenses.
