Susan Mary (Carr) Curtis

Susan Mary Curtis, 73 years old, passed away on January 19, 2023 at Woodland Manor in Elkhart.

Susan was born on March 1, 1949 in South Bend, IN to the late Chester E and Rosalie A (Abraham) Carr. Susan married the love of her life, Bob Curtis, who precedes. Susan is also preceded in death by her brothers; Paul Carr and Greg Carr.

Left to cherish their memories, Susan is survived by her sister-in-law, Kathleen Carr; nephews, Abraham (Janet) Carr and Jon (Deanna) Carr; and her nieces, Abigail (Kevin) Foster, Stephanie (Matt) Carr Gallion, and Beth (Stephen) Carr Huebscher.

Susan was a teacher for Mishawaka School Corporation her whole career before retiring in 2007. She loved her many years of teaching. She also loved drawing and cross-stitching, and animals. She also loved spending time with her family.

A committal service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00am at Highland Cemetery. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
