Steve had many nicknames, his favorite one was “Crazy Steve”. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the South Bend Street Department until retiring in February 2023. Steve loved being outdoors, fishing and riding his motorcycle were his favorite activities. He rode in many charity Biker Runs and loved every minute of the wind flying in his hair and beard, as fast as he safely could. However, for Steve family was his heart and soul. He loved being a Grandpa and he was especially thrilled when he became a Great-Grandpa. He loved us all fiercely.
