Stephen Spencer, Sr., 73, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at home on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He was born on Nov 30, 1952 in Plymouth, IN to his loving parents, Samuel and Virginia Spencer, who both proceeded him in death. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Diane Louise Deka Spencer in 2012, and brothers John Spencer and Michael Spencer.

Steve loved Notre dame and the Chicago Cubs. He especially loved summer days on his deck with his beloved wife Diane. Steve especially liked his Saturday afternoon hangouts at either Joe’s Tavern or RBI’s watching football, baseball or NASCAR.

Left to cherish their memories of Steve are his sister, Susan (Gregory “Jake”) Huff; his sons, Dustin Milton and Stephen Spencer, Jr., his daughter, Kristie Buesching; grandchildren, Kaydence Spencer, Skyler Spencer, Sophia Buesching, Jacob Buesching, Gavin Milton, Trinidy Milton, and Mahayla Milton; and many nieces and nephews.

In memory of Steve, please join the family from 12:00PM-3:00PM, Sunday, May 24, 2026 to share your memories, stories, and laughter as they celebrate Steve's life at RBI's in Mishawaka on Jefferson Blvd. The family chose this day in honor of Steve's love for the Indy 500 and the legendary race day parties he and Diane always hosted. Food will be provided, drinks may be purchased separately through the bar. 

We Hope you'll come and help us remember and celebrate Steve, the way he would've wanted, surrounded by his friends, stories, and good times.
