Stanley Leo Machowiak, Jr

Stanley Leo Machowiak, Jr, 81, passed away on December 20, 2025 at Memorial Hospital.

Stanley was born on August 04, 1944 in South Bend, IN to the late Stanley L. and Alice (Stefaniak) Machowiak, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Machowiak; and brother-in-law, Richard Rozmarynowski.

Left to cherish the memory of Stanley is his sister, Patricia Rozmarynowski; nephew, Bryan (Cindy) Rozmarynowski; niece and God-daughter, Deborah (Roger) Balderas, and niece, Julie (Neal Flanagan) Rozmarynowski-Flanagan; and many other dear family members and Polka friends.

Stan graduated from Washington High School class of 1962. He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. Stan worked for Jordan Ford for many years. He was a member of the St. Joe Club. Stan loved Polka music and his cat, Leo. He shared his love of music with others by creating and distributing cd’s and videos to his friends and family. Stan was proud of his Polish Heritage and enjoyed visiting Poland with the Pan Franek Family Polka Band.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Private burial will be held at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545 in honor of Stanley Leo Machowiak, Jr and his love of cats.
