Stanley Hoffman Obituary

Stanley W Hoffman, 78, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Stanley was born on January 16, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Richard Hoffman and Alice (Sekora) Hoffman.

Along with his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Susan Hoffman and Shirley Hoffman and brother-in-law, Emeterio Mireles.

Left to cherish the memory of Stanley are his siblings, Martha Hoffman, Barbara Mireles, Robert Hoffman, and Mike Hoffman, and many nieces and nephews.

Stanley was a beacon of happiness, known for his infectious smile that could light up any room.

An enthusiast of life's simple pleasures, Stanley enjoyed anything and everything that came his way, with puzzles being one of his favorite pastimes. His passion for music was evident; he treasured his collection of cassette tapes, especially those that carried the twang of country music, and he was an avid fan of Elvis Presley's timeless tunes.

The highlight of Stanley's adventurous spirit was his trip to Dollywood, where every moment was a thrill, and his visit to Chicago, where the Bean left him in awe. His joy was infectious, and his love for life was palpable.

Stanley's ever-present smile and his perpetual happiness will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His zest for life and ability to find joy in everything will continue to inspire us.

Stanley’s family would like to thank Logan Center and the entire staff of the Walnut Group Home, especially his caregiver, Danielle McClellan for their kindness and support during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Logan Center or the Cancer Society in honor of Stanley.
