Sondra "Sonnie" D. (Gleva) Edwards

Sondra "Sonnie" D. Edwards, 72, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on April 2, 1951, in South Bend, IN, to the late John and Lorraine (Haas) Gleva. Sonnie was also preceded in death by her brothers John (Butch) Gleva Jr, Robert (Bob) Gleva, and William (Bill) Gleva.

Sondra was married to her beloved husband, Timothy H. Edwards, on July 26, 1969, until his passing in March, 2019.

Sonnie will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tracy Edwards, her son, Tim (Mindy) Edwards, and her six grandchildren: Morgan, Bryant, Jacob, Myra, Micah, and Macie. She was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Camila. Sonnie leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Sonnie attended Washington High School.  Sonnie had a special place in her heart for her family and many furry pet companions over the years.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date and time to honor Sonnie's vibrant life. The compassionate staff at St Joseph Funeral Homes in South Bend, IN 46619 is assisting the family with the arrangements.
