On Wednesday night of October 25, 2023, Sheila Hauguel lost her short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 4, 1973 to Robert and Marilyn Micinski in South Bend, IN.
On June 7, 2003, she married Larry Hauguel, Jr., who survives. They spent 23 wonderful years together, married for 20 plus of those years. Surviving is her mother, Marilyn Doherty and her father, Robert (Ginger) Micinski. Also surviving are her brother, Jeremy (Nancy) Micinski; sisters, Cindy (Dan) Moryl and Angie (Brian) Dickerson; nephew, Seth Micinski; and nieces, Dana and Elly Moryl, Grace and Salah Micinski, and Jaidyn and Annalyse Medina. Sheila also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Jeanette Hauguel and sister-in-law, Beth (Jeremy) Medina. She also sadly leave behind many other family and friends, as well as her two dogs that she spoiled and loved, Bo and Max, who affectionately knew her as, Mommy.
Sheila was a dedicated and hard-working employee throughout her various jobs and was respected and liked by her co-workers. She always went above and beyond in her duties and considered a few lucky employers and co-worked as “family”. Her latest “family” was Kingman Storage, where she was able to work with her sister, Angie, for the past year and a half. She truly enjoyed her time there and will be sadly missed. For anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Sheila, knows the world was a better place with her in it.
Sheila enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved to cook and bake, especially cheesecakes, which she often did for family, friends and co-workers. She loved nature. She admired the beauty of a sunrise and a sunset. Turned a gloomy day into fun by dancing in the rain and then appreciated the beauty of a rainbow following the storm. She loved being outside whether walking around Potato Creek Park, taking the dogs for a walk, gardening or just laying out in the hammock. She had a smile that would light up the room. She was surprisingly shy until you got to know her, but once you were lucky to become a part of her life, she had the ability to make you feel so special and loved.
Sheila was an amazing woman, loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, “mommy” and friend who was taken from this world far too soon. Rest in peace.
