Ronald J DeVos

Ronald J DeVos, 92 years old, passed away on July 30, 2024 at Briar Cliff Nursing Home in South Bend. Ronald was born on April 14, 1932 in South Bend to the late Achiel and Cecelia (Labis) DeVos. Ronald is also preceded in death by his brothers, Dick DeVos and Danny DeVos.

Left to cherish their memories, Ronald is survived by his sister, Sharon Correll; nieces, Kimberly Thomas and Pamela Koch; nephew, Danny DeVos, Jr.; and many other nieces and nephews. Ronald is also survived by his neighbor and good friend, Jack Meek.

Ronald was a lifelong resident of South Bend. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ronald loved hunting – especially deer and rabbits.

A memorial visitation will take place from 10:00am – 12:00pm Friday, August 16, 2024 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Rd, South Bend. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm that day at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Lakeville.
