Robin Holley Obituary

Robin E. (Fish) Holley, 71, of Fort Wayne, went to Heaven on April 15, 2026, surrounded by love.

Robin was a deeply caring, generous, and loving woman whose life was rooted in faith, family, and compassion for others. She loved Jesus deeply, and her faith guided the way she lived, loved, and served others. She is now united with Him in eternal peace. Robin had a gentle spirit—patient, thoughtful, soft-spoken, and sincere—with a wonderful sense of humor and a love for meaningful conversation. She truly enjoyed connecting with people and was a loyal and cherished friend to many.

She shared a deep and unwavering love with her husband of 35 years, Michael Holley, and found immense joy in being a grandmother to Makenna. Family meant everything to Robin.

Robin treasured time spent with family at Sylvan Lake, where many joyful memories were made. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed trips to Europe, Tennessee, and Florida.

A gifted artist, Robin had a passion for painting—especially flowers—and a love for collecting art. She found peace and happiness in gardening, canning, and creating beauty in everyday life. Exceptionally intelligent and detail-oriented, she excelled in grant writing, event planning, and nonprofit work. She contributed her talents to organizations such as United Way, the Headwaters Park Commission, Junior Achievement, Three Rivers Festival, and The Great Tree Canopy. She also served for 25 years with the North Side High School Alumni Association.

Robin was a 1973 graduate of North Side High School and attended Indiana University and University of Saint Francis. Throughout her career, she worked with Bombay Eagle, Bonsib Inc., LH Carbide, United Way, YWCA, Headwaters Park Commission, and alongside her husband in their business, Holley Management.

Robin had a generous heart and deep empathy for others. She gave freely of her time, always thinking of others first, and had a natural ability to bring people together. She also had a special love for her dogs and was a devoted dog mom.

She had a special bond with her niece, Jennie (Jim) Gorski, who was also one of her closest friends. Together, they created countless cherished memories traveling and spending time with Jennie’s children, Devon, Kariina, Abbie, and Troy. She was also a loving aunt to Charlie (Caryn) Fish and a proud great-aunt to Sam and Ben Fish.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Holley; her brother, Pastor Russ (Nancy) Fish; her niece, Jennie (Jim) Gorski; her nephew, Charlie (Caryn) Fish; her great-nieces and nephews, Devon, Kariina, Abbie, Troy, Sam, and Ben; her stepsons, Brian and Zach Holley; her granddaughter, Makenna; her mother-in-law, Connie Holley; her brothers-in-law, Steve (Luke), Matt (Victor), and Dave Holley; and her uncle, Doug (Barb) Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Fish; her beloved brother, Randy Fish; her grandmother, Lucy; and her father-in-law, Wesley Holley.

A celebration of life will be held from 4–7 p.m. on May 17, 2026, at Charlie’s Place, 4201 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA.

Robin will be remembered for her kindness, her creativity, and the love she shared so freely. She was truly a beautiful soul who made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
