Ricky E Jensen

Ricky Eugene Jensen, Sr., 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 06, 2024 at Memorial Hospital.

Ricky was born on August 14, 1951 in South Bend to the late Delbert and Anna (Engle) Jensen. Ricky was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Deborah Jensen.

Left to cherish Ricky’s memory are his daughters, Jaime Pyburn & spouse Larry "Joe", and Stacie Jensen & spouse Dilan Scheibelhut, and son, Ricky E. Jensen, Jr.; grandchildren, Lillian & Larry Pyburn, and Chudo & Salem Scheibelhut; sister, Julia Busse & spouse Scott; and a brother, Delbert "Greg" Jensen.

Ricky was a truck driver and worked for Patrick Industries and Owens Corning (formerly Fabwell). He enjoyed a variety of foods, especially sloppy joes and the corn and sausage roast at the Calvert Rod & Gun Club. Ricky also enjoyed spending summers at Jellystone Park in Pierceton, IN. He loved wrestling and everything racing. Ricky raced stock cars at all local race tracks in his younger years. He absolutely loved spending time with his grandchildren, they were his world. His favorite holidays were Halloween and spoiling kids at Christmas. Ricky’s children are grateful to have had such a dedicated, wonderful, loving father. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Visitation will be held 12:00– 3:00PM, with a service beginning at 3:00PM, on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Rd South Bend.
