Richard L. Kirkman

Richard L. Kirkman Sr., 77 years old, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

He was born on May 2, 1947, in Alexandria, to the late Richard A. and Margaret Ellen Kirkman. On September 16, 1965, in South Bend, he married Stella L. Kirkman, and she survives.

Richard was an Auto Mechanic and had a love for racing. He was a race car driver in the South Bend area for many years. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Left to cherish the memory of Richard is his wife, Stella; son, James Edward Kirkman, and companion Kortney Williams of Elkhart; daughter in law, Laurie Kirkman of Elkhart; sister, Martha Ellen Kirkman of Muncie; grandchildren, Katherinn Kirkman and Travis Kirkman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Richard Lee Kirkman Jr.
