Ricardo Agustin Abrajan Tlahuel, Sr., 53, passed away on Monday, May 04, 2026 at the Center for Hospice Esther's House in Elkhart, IN.

Ricardo was born on April 03, 1973 in San Gregrio Atzompa Cholula, Puebla, Mexico to Sabino Silvester Abrajan and Maria Luisa Tlahuel. He is preceded in death by his father, Sabino Silvester Abrajan; and his brother, Juan Abrajan.

Left to cherish the memory of Ricardo, are his children, Thalia Elizabeth Lee Abrajan, Ricardo Agustin Abrajan, Jr., Carla Abrajan, Galilea Abrajan, and Leonardo Diego Abrajan; his mother, Maria Luisa Tlahuel; children’s mother, Barbara Urquizo-Banuelos; brothers, Diego (Ida) Abrajan and their 6 children, Luis (Araceli) Abrajan and their 4 children; sisters, Lourdes Abrajan and her 3 children, Maria Laura Abrajan and her 3 children, Maria Luisa Abrajan and her 2 children, Margarita (Sergio) Esparza Abrajan and their 6 children; and Fabiola Dominguez and her 4 children.

Visitation for Ricardo will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, May 11, 2026 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, In.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
