Patricia Ann Evans

Patricia Ann (Neal) Evans, 89, of South Bend passed away peacefully in her home with family at her side.

Patricia was born January 22, 1934 in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late Jesse (Hopper) Neal & Dwight Moody Neal. She married Billy E. Evans in February of 1950, he passed away in November of 2001, they were married 51 years. Patricia was also preceded in death by her sons, Dennis (Bryan), Michael (Steve); brother, Kenneth Neal; son-in-law, Tim Coleman.

Left to cherish the memory of Patricia are her loving children, Shelly (Ron) Lappin of South Bend, Neal (Deb) Evans of South Bend, Lisa Coleman of South Bend, Betsy Evans of Boonville, Ky., Christopher Evans of South Bend, Kevin (Susie) Evans of South Bend; daughter-in-law, Lynn Evans of Chico, California; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed family gatherings, dinners, watching her birds (especially cardinals), flowers, and traveling. Patricia enjoyed all holidays, especially Christmas.
