Olivia (Olvera Hernandez) Marquez

Olivia (Olvera Hernandez) Marquez, 46, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in her home.

Olivia was born on November 26, 1979 to her mama, Tomasa Hernandez Camacho, and papa, the late Bartolome Olvera Marquez in La Lagunita, Qro, Mexico.

Olivia married her loving husband, Eligio Marquez, on July 4, 2009, he survives; along with their children, Yovani Olvera, Aaron Marquez, Selene Marquez, Jennifer Reyes, Juan Reyes; her stepchildren, Mary Marquez, Eligo Marquez Jr, Cristina Marquez; siblings; Grisela Olvera, Marisol Olvera, Bartolome Olvera, Sarahi Hernandez, Angel Hernandez; Grandchildren, Angie Olvera, Montell O’neal, Ashley Loredo, Roselie Loredo, Kieara Marquez, Antonio Marquez, Klaudia Marquez, Nathanial Marquez, Evan Marquez, Aaliyah Marquez, Antwon Marquez, Hunter Marquez; and Great Grandchildren, Ayla Marquez, Aria Marquez, and Aroarah Marquez.

Olivia loved to cook and spend time with her family. Everyone else loved when she cooked as well especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones.

Visitation for Olivia will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Thursday, May 21, 2026 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W. Grace St., South Bend with an hour of visitation beforehand .  Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery.
