Michael Anthony Andrzejewski, 77, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Mike was born on November 21, 1946 in South Bend, to the late Anthony and Florence (Deka) Andrzejewski. On November 29, 1969, Mike married Mary Ann (Gralik) Andrzejewski in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Michigan City, IN.
Left to cherish the memory of Mike are his children, Michelle (Robert) Vandygriff, Mark (Kim) Andrzejewski, Meredith (Charles) Cornett, and Matthew (Elizabeth) Andrzejewski-Wilson; grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Katelyn, Sophia, Kennedy, Katie, Olivia, and Penelope; sister, Christine Good; niece, Kelsey Dombrowski; nephew, Cory (Amanda) Dombrowski; and 3 great-nephews.
Mike was a graduate of Central High School. He proudly served his country in the United State Marine Corps. Mike earned his apprenticeship in Tool & Die and worked for various Die Shops for over 40 years. He coached football and Cub scouts at Holy Family as well as volunteering for their carnival. Mike was a member of the Usher Club at Holy Family and St. Matthew's, the American Legion Post 284, and Knights of Columbus Council 5521. He enjoyed watching the Cubs and Notre Dame Football, fishing, and gardening. Mike played a mean Poker and Euchre hand.
Visitation will be 2:00PM-8:00PM, with a rosary being prayed at 4:00PM, Thursday, May 9, 2024 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, Mayflower Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, Friday, May 10, 2024 in St. Matthew Cathedral, Miami St., South Bend. A private burial will be held at a later time.
