"Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever"
Mary was a life member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 357. She was also a member of ZB Falcons and golfed on their league at Bowlers CC. She was a volunteer at St Joseph Hospital, a job she absolutely loved. She loved people! She was always smiling - a light hearted soul, until you made her mad!!! She loved, loved, loved to dance and she could polka all night! She was always whipping up something yummy in the kitchen and was remembered for her perfect apple pies and cookies. No one left her house hungry! She loved her sweets and her coffee! Right, Brookdale staff??
Our mom, buscia, great gramma, sister, auntie, friend is going to be so missed. She was a woman of faith and her faith has carried her forward as she now happily serves her Lord.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 21 at St Joseph Funeral Home, from 12pm-2pm with a service beginning at 2pm. Entombment at St Joseph Cemetery will follow.
A very special Thank You to the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living, Granger, as well as to the Angels from Southern Care Hospice, for your devotion to my mother. It meant the world to me.
Contributions may be made to Holy Cross Parish or Southern Care Hospice.
