Lorena Parra Cristobal, 50, passed away on December 07, 2025 in Memorial Hospital.

Lorena was born in Michoacan, Mexico to Gerardo and Raquel Parra Gomez. She was in preceded in death by her father, Gerardo; and a brother, Jose R. Parra Gomez.

On November 28, 2025, Lorena married Jesus Guadalupe Cristobal. He survives along with her mother, Raquel; daughters, Jazmin, Lizbeth and Xochilt Cristobal; and brothers, Gerardo Parra Gomez, Emmanuel Parra Gomez, Jose A. Parra Gomez; and sister, Fabiola Parra Gomez.

Lorena liked to go fishing and to amusement parks. She enjoyed dancing and singing. Her greatest joy by far was spending time with her family. They will keep the memory of that time shared together close to their hearts.

Visitation for Lorena will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2025 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, with a Rosary to be prayed during the visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm, Friday, December 12, 2025 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 Grace St., South Bend.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
