Lisa Kaye (Younger) Suher

Lisa Kaye Suher, 65 years old, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Wellbrooke of South Bend.

Lisa was born in Dowagiac December 25, 1960 to the late Bettie Lou Taggart and William Bryan Younger, Jr. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Chad Allen Reeves.

Left to cherish the memory of Lisa is her husband of 11 years, John Suher, Sr.; her brothers, Douglas Lee (Karen) Younger, Kevin Bryan Younger, Jeffrey Allen (Kathy) Younger, Barry Dean Younger, and Bradley Wayne Younger; John’s children, John (Sarah) Suher, Jr. and Jennifer (Thomas) Walsh; her brother-in-law, Karl (Cathy) Suher; sister-in-law, Sherry (Bruce) Manring; and many nephews, nieces, and other relatives throughout the US.

Lisa worked at Murphy Brothers Pipeline, Tyler Refrigeration and Honeywell, where she eventually retired.  On July 30, 2014 in Las Vegas, Lisa married John Suher, Sr. She enjoyed going to concerts and vacationing with John - where they were able to see the Beatles, Siegfried and Roy, and many others. Lisa also loved going to the casino and she loved doing Relay for Life. Above all, she loved her family and hosting her large family gatherings. Lisa influenced many over her life and meant so much to so many people. She will be deeply missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life will be held at Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at American Legion Post 357, 5414 W Sample St, South Bend, IN 46619. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
