Lisa A Evans Coleman

Lisa Evans Coleman, 67, passed away at home with her sister, Shelly and neighbor, Kayle by her side on Friday, March 06, 2026.

Lisa was born on July 30, 1958 in Lancaster, SC to the late Billy E and Patricia (Neal) Evans. Lisa was also preceded in death by her husband, Timmie D. Coleman in 2017; and brothers, Dennis Evans, Michael Evans, William Evans, and Christopher Evans.

Left to cherish their memories of Lisa are her sisters, Shelly Lappin and Betsy Evans; brother, Kevin Evans; grandchildren, Allison & Zach Coleman and Olivia Coleman; brothers-in-law, Chuck (Virginia) Coleman and Mike Coleman; nieces, Becca & Erin Coleman; caring friend and neighbor, Kayle Workman; and children, Nate Coleman and Dana Coleman. 

Lisa graduated from North Liberty High School class of 1976. She married the love her life, Timmie Coleman on July 25, 1976. Lisa cooked at Washington High School, worked for several nursing homes, then retired from DHL to stay home and care for her husband. She loved birds, butterflies, nature, and anything the color pink. She enjoyed short drives up to lake Michigan with her husband, Tim and traveling down South to visit his family. Lisa was always making those close to her laugh and stayed strong till the end.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Crumstown Cemetery.
