Linda Lee Lawrence, 68 years old, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 surrounded by her family at the Center for Hospice in Mishawaka.
Linda was born on November 20, 1957 in South Bend, to Robert and Nancy (Frey) Yates. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Yates.
On July 27, 1991, Linda married the love of her life, Kelly Lawrence; who survives, along with her sons, Dillon (Amelia Brubaker) Nowak, Jon-Paul Lawrence, and Ryan (Lindsey Bowman) Lawrence; her granddaughter, Sabina Lawrence; her mother, Nancy Yates; her brother, Mike (Julie) Yates; and her sister, Vicki Sczepankiewicz. She also leaves behind her 7-year-old Boston Terrier, Miss Hattie.
Linda found great joy in decorating every space of her home with care and creativity. She had a deep love for gardening, spending countless hours tending to her flowers and enjoying the beauty they brought to her. She was thoughtful to her core, taking special care in celebrating those she loved, always searching for the perfect gift and card to make every occasion meaningful. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Linda held at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.
