Lidia Hernandez

Lidia Hernandez, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Lidia was born on March 21, 1935, in Michoacan Villa Jimenez, Mexico, to the late Donato and Maclovia Hernandez Lopez. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Emilia Hernandez; and a brother, David Hernandez.

Left to cherish the memory of Lidia is her son, Adolfo (Isabel) Hernandez; grandchildren, Nichole G. Hernandez, Adolfo C. Hernandez, Victor D. Hernandez, Kristina K. Hernandez, Alexis M. Hernandez, Eluney Y. Hernandez; great grandchildren, Niko Sanchez, Louie Sanchez, Elijah Hernandez, Immanuel Hernandez; brothers & sisters, Pablo Hernandez, Porfiria Hernandez, Carolina Hernandez, Enedina Hernandez, Gracia Chavez, Maria Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 22, 2024, at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2024, with visitation one hour prior, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1302 W. Dunham Street, South Bend.
