Kevin Rendos

Kevin Rendos, 68, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his home in Broomfield, Colorado. Kevin was born on March 9, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana to the late John and Ann (Dugan) Rendos. He was also preceded in death by his fiancée, Yogi Marie Therese Mancuso on May 18, 2022. Yogi was the love of Kevin’s life.

Left to cherish the memory of Kevin, is his sister, Kathleen Rendos Watkins of Owensboro, Kentucky; his brother, Jay (Ellen) Rendos of Naperville, Illinois; nephews, Jonathan (Emily) Rendos Watkins of Hanson, Kentucky, John Rendos of Naperville, Illinois; niece, Carolyn Rendos of Chicago, Illinois; great niece & nephew, Grace & William Watkins; uncle, George (Marie) Dugan; and many other extended family members.

Kevin was a graduate of Washington High School, and Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He moved to Colorado in 1980 and proudly worked as a developer and enrollment specialist for several higher institutions of education; including Colorado Christian University. Kevin had a profound love for helping others. Through his Catholic faith, he helped lead support sessions for people dealing with grief, divorce, and similar matters. Kevin enjoyed playing backgammon and was a part of a club that played monthly in Denver. He shared his love of life with his fur babies, two Pekinese mixed dogs, Jasper and DaVinci, and treated them as members of the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 12:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, South Bend, Indiana. Visitation for the family will be held from 11:00 am -11:30 am, and the public is invited from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm, at the church.
