Kerry Patrick Ring

Kerry Patrick Ring, 55, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Kerry was born on June 07, 1969 in South Bend to the late James and Alice (Janiszewski) Ring. Kerry is also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Moss, brother-in-law, Kenny Weber, and a very close cousin, Billy Janiszewski.

On February 14, 2005, Kerry married the love of his life, Angie (Sobieralski) Ring, she survives. Also left to cherish Kerry’s memories are his daughter, Karlee Ring, son, Ethan Anderson; siblings, Lance (Vicki) Ring, Sharon Weber, Christine (Bill) Cuzinski, Mark (Ann) Ring, Vincent Ring, Judy (Tim) Bragg, Paul (Angie) Ring, Jessica Ring; a sister-in-law, Theresa Sobieralski; and many other dear family members.

Kerry attended Washington High School. He was a member of the American Legion Post 284. Kerry enjoyed hosting the CB&K&E podcast from his garage. He worked as a drywaller for many years, and worked at North American Signs, Dehco Inc., then after retiring he worked summers for St. Joseph Cemetery. Kerry was an avid Notre Dame fan. He loved music, painting, art (he was known as the artist of TJ), and giving his best attempt at fixing things around his home and for others. Kerry had a great sense of humor and liked watching funny movies and tv shows (Simpsons, Rick & Morty, South Park and Bob's Burgers). He took great pride in his Polish heritage and loved his family greatly. He also had a love for animals.  

In honor of Kerry, please wear a musical group or Notre Dame t-shirt to his services.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 4:00-6:00PM, with a remembrance service beginning at 6:00PM at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN 46619. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00pm, until Angie’s had enough of you, on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Kerry and Angie’s House.
