Judith Geppert, 79, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on October 16, 2024

Judith was born on February 18, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Anthony and Evelyn (Szczepanski) Geppert. She is survived by her brother Jerald (Deborah) Geppert, her three sisters, Shirley Geppert, Linda (Jerome) Szklarek and Janet (Thomas) Tomczak, and her nephews, Troy (Melissa) Tomczak, Todd (Meghan) Tomczak, Jerry (Brieann) Szklarek and Jason Szklarek. Judith is also survived by her four great-nieces and nephews, Reese Tomczak, Lanie Tomczak, Tanner Tomczak and Tyler Tomczak.

Judith earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education. She taught in Augusta, Georgia, and South Bend. She later worked at Bendix Corporation and completed her working career in customer service. Judith loved tending her garden and feeding the birds.

A one-hour visitation will be held for Judith at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN. There will then be a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. and a burial to immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
