Joan Ellen (Schanke) Schultz

Joan Ellen (Schanke) Schultz, 75 years old, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Golden Living Center - Fountainview in Mishawaka.

Joan was born on July 21, 1947 in Appleton, WI to the late Harold and Eunice Schanke. Joan is also preceded in death by her daughter, Keri Ritchie.

Left to cherish their memories, Joan is survived by her son, James (Jenny) Schultz; her grandchildren, Megan (Derek) Timm, Brandon Schultz, and Cade (Natalie Yaklyvich) Ritchie; her great-grandson, Jaxon Smith; her twin sister, Jean (George) Baer; her brother, David (Vicky) Earle; and sister, Sandy (JC) Newcomb.

Joan loved the simple beauty in things. She loved to garden and always admired the beauty of the flowers of her garden. Joan also loved sports. She was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, and also loved to golf. She also loved playing card games – especially Euchre and Kings in the Corner. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life held from 3:00pm-5:00pm Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Cranky Pat's Pizzeria, 905 S Commercial St, Neenah, WI 54956. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
