Jo Ann (Clingenpeel) Kowalski

Jo Ann Kowalski, 73 years old, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Memorial Hospital.

Jo Ann was born on January 25, 1950 in La Porte, IN to the late Lee and Martha (Stull) Clingenpeel. On January 2, 1971, Jo Ann married her loving husband, Kenneth Kowalski, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Ron Clingenpeel.

Left to cherish their memory of Jo Ann is her son, John Kowalski; sisters, Janet (Chuck) Houser and Sharon (David) Zukas; and sister-in-laws, Sandy Clingenpeel, Marcia Jebelian, and Nancy Schrader.

Jo Ann was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Lakeville. She enjoyed bowling, going to the movies, and her word searches. Jo Ann also enjoyed her time at Universal Bearings and all of her coworkers she met throughout the years.

Visitation for Jo Ann will be from 10:00 am-11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Lakeville.
