Jerry Lee Ullery, Sr.

Jerry Lee Ullery, Sr, 86, passed away at home on Friday, May 31, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Jerry was born on April 02, 1938 in Fort Wayne, IN to Roland and Mary (Hower) Ullery. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Richard Ullery. On October 07, 1960, Jerry married Eleanor “Ellie” (Brodner) Ullery in Grace Baptist Church.

Left to cherish the memory of Jerry is the love of his life, Ellie Ullery; their sons, Jerry (Bonnie) Ullery, Jr., Steven Ullery, David Ullery; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Hillview Dairy, and Elkhart Frozen Foods. He then opened his own frozen food business, Riverbend Frozen Foods, and retired from Alpha Systems. Jerry enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, reading, watching old Western movies and TV shows, and had a collection of Louis L' Amour books. In his younger years, he and his wife took a special trip to Alaska with friends, which they enjoyed very much. Most of all he enjoyed fishing and taking his family to the lake, and playing cards with friends and family over the years.

Per Jerry’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
