Jeanette Marie Nickelson

Jeanette Marie Nickelson, 45 years old, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8

Jeanette is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Jerome and Veronica Jaworski; her grandparents, Casimer and Angela Sobecki, and John and Joanne Nickelson; uncles, Mike Sobecki, Russ Sobecki, and Ed Nickelson; and her cousin, Jeremiah Sobecki.

Left to cherish the memory of Jeanette is her mother, Rebecca Nickelson; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Jeanette was a participant in Special Olympics, Reins of Life, Challenger Little League, and Hannah and Friends. She was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church and she truly loved attending Friendship Bible Study and Sunshine Circle.

Jeanette’s beautiful smile and contagious laugh brought joy to this world and will be forever missed.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00am-12:00pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023 with a funeral service to start at 12:00pm all at Evangel Heights UMC, 114 N Ironwood Dr, South Bend. Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Contributions in honor of Jeanette Marie Nickelson may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
