Jean Marie Samolczyk, 62, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Jean was born on January 03, 1960 in South Bend to Jesse and Jeannette (Gorski) Samolczyk. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Colleen Samolczyk.

Left to cherish Jeans’ memory is her twin sister, Anne Samolczyk, brothers, Michael Samolczyk and Mark (Cindy) Samolczyk, and a sister, Susan (Ken) Wojtanek; nieces and nephews, David (Julia) Samolczyk, Grace (Nick) Caley, Kate Samolczyk , Alec Samolczyk , and Matthew Wojtanek; and great-nieces Caroline & Vivian Caley, and Lillian Samolczyk

Jean worked as a Clerk for the St. Joseph County Assessor’s Office since 1983. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading.

Private services will be held. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery, Osceola, IN.
