James Joseph Stack

James Joseph Stack passed away on April 27, 2025, at Hamilton Grove Communities in New Carlisle, IN.

He was born on October 10, 1937 in South Bend, IN, to Edwin Stachowski and Bertha Stachowski, who preceded him in death. On June 21, 1958, he married Leona Kowalski at Holy Cross Catholic Church in South Bend. Leona, a devoted wife and mother, survives him, along with daughter, Michele “Shelley” Stack, son, Michael Stack, (Teresa), and granddaughter, Mary Stack.

In honor of his wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pet Refuge/ABC Clinic.
