Gregory Alan Lundquist, 62 years old, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at his residence in Elkhart.
Greg was born on September 9, 1962 in South Bend, to the late Donald Lundquist and Norma Jean (Wawrzynczak) Lundquist. Along with his parents, Greg is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Billy Kinyon.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Kalie (Drake) Lundquist; sisters, Laurie Evans, DeAnna Kinyon, and Debra (Timothy) Hudak; as well as his closest friend and brother from another mother, Jeff Blankenship. He is also remembered by his nieces, nephews and the mother of his Daughter, Lisa Lundquist, with whom he shared many years of cherished memories.
Greg spent many of his years working alongside his father Don, in their family-owned business, building and installing custom countertops. He also spent time as a proud volunteer firefighter with the Warren Township Fire Department. Greg was a very talented craftsman and had a deep passion for woodworking in all its forms— He found great pleasure in crafting intricate carvings and building RC airplanes. He was also very talented with a paint brush, leaving behind many of his own creations that his daughter refers to as “treasures”. In earlier years, Greg enjoyed fishing trips that highlighted his love for nature and displayed his stubborn streak, making him all the more unforgettable. Known for his loving and generous heart, he brought passion and care into everything he did.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Greg on September 20th, 2025 from 2pm-5pm at the Crumstown Conservation Club, located at 59440 Crumstown Hwy, North Liberty, IN 46554
