Grace (Kryszczuk) Trzaskowski

Grace Trzaskowski, 78, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Center for Hospice Care Raclin House.

Grace was born on September 29, 1946 in Poland to the late Joseph and Eugenia (Skomorucha) Kryszczuk.  On April 27, 1974, Grace married the love of her life, Richard Trzaskowski, he preceded her in death.

Left to cherish their memory of Grace are her daughters, Cathy Trzaskowski and Candace Trzaskowski; grandchildren, Whitney (Nick) Burke, Hailey Zuercher, and Katie Zuercher; sister, Theresa Osowski; nephew & nieces, Steve (Chris) Osowski, Sandy (Jay) Elick, Susie Osowski; and great-nephews, Logan & Blake Elick.

Grace worked as a telephone operator for 32 years for Indiana Bell, Ameritech, then AT & T. She enjoyed shopping, finding a bargain, and was famous for her Jello. She also enjoyed traveling with her sister, Theresa. Grace had an outgoing personality, everyone she met was a friend. She didn't know a stranger. Grace loved her family very much and had a special bond with her granddaughter, Hailey.

Visitation for Grace will be 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 pm.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice, Raclin House, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545 in honor of Grace Trzaskowski.
