Glen "Bob" Robert Marvin

Glen “Bob” Robert Marvin, 71 years old, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Bob was born on September 2, 1954 in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England to Burl Marvin and Patricia (Cubberly) Floyd. On June 14, 2003, Bob married the love of his life, Jodi King, who survives. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Burl Marvin; and his brother, David Floyd.

Along with his loving wife, Jodi King, Bob is survived by his children, Dustin King, Matthew King, Tyler (Justy) King, Brandon Monroe, Alissa (Cody) Morse, Quentin (Thea) Marvin, Robert Marvin, and Sydney (Reed) Marvin; grandchildren, Simone, Cody, Adessa, Logan, Alayna, Nolan, Asher, Madelyn, Cayden, and Beckett; 5 great grandchildren; his mother, Patricia Floyd; siblings, Kay (Gary) Clem, Clare (Joe) Brown, Rachel (Ashley) Maile, Diane Floyd, Louise (Rob) Rout, Christine Wales, Todd Marvin, Scott Marvin, Billy Marvin, Joi Forrest, Nancy Weinwurm, Beth Marvin, Alice Marvin, Rose Marvin; sisters-in-law, Jill King, Joy (Rob) Burt, and Jamie King; brother-in-law, Eric (Karen) King; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States National Guard. He was a member of IUOE Local 150, American Legion Post 284, the British Legion, and W.S.B.T. Bob had a passion for yard sales and antiquing, and he loved traveling, collecting jukeboxes, and listening to old and outlaw country music. He found great joy in fishing, eagle watching, and riding his Harley. Above all, Bob’s heart belonged to his family—especially his grandchildren, with whom he cherished every moment.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Bob from 12:00pm - 5:00pm Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the American Legion Post 284, 23571 Grant Rd, South Bend, IN 46619. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
