Gale Evan Newman

Gale Evan Newman, 67, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 07, 2026 at the Center for Hospice Care Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN.

Gale was born on December 14, 1958 in Paw Paw, MI to Robert Gale and Bernice (DeCook) Newman. On September 27, 1986, in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Gale married the love of his life, Judy Andrzejewski, she survives. Gale is preceded in death by parents, Robert & Bernice Newman, his daughter, Martha Davis, and brother, Dale Maenhout.

Left to cherish their memories of Gale are his wife, Judy Newman; children: John (Carrie) Morgan, Audrey Morgan, and Christine Newman; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; and a brother, James (Connie) Newman.

Gale worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed hunting, music, Star Trek and spending the weekend playing Risk with his friends. Gale loved being with family and friends, especially while sitting by the pool, listening to loud music with a drink in hands. He also loved his cats.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 1211 E. Ewing Ave., South Bend, IN 46613.
