Frances "Frankie" (Rogers) Bailey

Frances “Frankie” Bailey, 84, passed away at home on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Frances I. Rogers was born on December 01, 1940 in Hymera, IN to the late Kenny G. and Wanita (Cole) Rogers. On September 22, 1962, Frankie married the love of her life, Ronald B. Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son-in-law, Ricky Ford; sister, Shirley Bryant; and brother, Kenneth “Bub” Rogers.

Left to cherish the memory of Frankie are her daughters, Toni Ford, Cindy (Ray) Schaller, Tressa Bailey, and Rhonda Bailey; son, Phillip (Cynthia) Bailey; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Frankie was a member of the Rosary Society, Seniors Club, and a Eucharistic Minister at St, Casimir. She was also a member of the Cherokee Tribe of Northeast Alabama. Frankie liked to attend and dance at the Pow-Wows throughout Indiana with her son, Phillip and grandson, Adam. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and crafting with fabrics and yarns. Frankie loved teaching her craft skills to her daughters and granddaughters, and cooking skills to all her children and grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in St. Joseph Funeral Home. 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, with a rosary to prayed at (TBD).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W. Dunham St., South Bend, with a one visitation prior to the mass in the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W. Dunham St., South Bend, IN 46619 in honor of Frances I Bailey.
