Douglas E. Jones Sr.

Douglas E. Jones Sr., 74 years old, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

He was born on June 30, 1949 in French Lick, to Dennis V. Jones and Thelma LaVern (Conrad) Dias. Doug loved playing pool and riding motorcycles.

Left to cherish the memory of Doug is his mother, Thelma LaVern Dias of Osceola; son, Douglas E. Jones Jr. of South Bend; sister, Anita L. Jones of South Bend; sister, Sandra S. Hager of Mitchell; grandchildren, Douglas E. Jones III, and Joslynne J. Jones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis V. Jones, and his step-father, Stanley A. Dias.

A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
