Dorothy M. (Kwiatkowski/Flowers) Kalmar, 87 years old, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Signature Healthcare Facility in Bremen, IN.

Dorothy was born on September 23, 1937 in South Bend, to the late Daniel and Grace (Hullinger) Kwiatkowski. On October 13, 1961, Dorothy married the love of her life, Arthur J. Kalmar, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by a son, Keith Kalmar; daughter, Jennifer Kalmar; and a sister, Rose Richardson.

Left to cherish the memory of Dorothy, is her sister, Shirley Phillips; brother, Daniel (Cheryl) Flowers; and many nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly

Dorothy was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church.  She worked as Customer Service Representative at the South Bend Credit Bureau for 21 years and then the Credit Manager at Stanz Food Service for over 25 years before retiring.

There will be a private family service held at the funeral home. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to Arthur at the St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend.
