Deontre “Tre” Marquis Baker, 27 years old, passed away on July 5, 2023 at Memorial Hospital with his family at his side. Tre was born on June 3, 1996 in Mishawaka, to Tiffany Hicks and Marquis D'Angelo Baker, who survive.

Left to cherish his memory, are his fiancé, Symone Harley; parents, Tiffany Hicks and Marquis Baker; maternal grandparents; Darlene McFadden and George (Shelia) Frison; paternal grandparents, Gwendolyn Lottie-Clark and Isaac (Valetta) Baker; siblings, Marq’ala Baker, Mekhi Baker, Marqui Baker and Maleah Hicks; children; King Baker (Brianna), D’Angelo Baker (Emily), and Gianni Harley-Baker (Symone); and a host of other loved ones.

The family will be receiving guests for the homegoing celebration from 10:00 am–12:00 pm Saturday, July 15,2023 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 South Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46619 with the service beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 24980 State Road 2, South Bend, IN 46619.
