Dennis M. Finley

Dennis "Mike" M Finley, 79 years old, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, surrounded by his family at Center for Hospice in Mishawaka.

Mike was born on September 14, 1946, in LaPorte, IN to the late William and Evelyn (Knowlton) Finley. On June 7, 1969, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Mike married the love of his life, Mary Borowski, who survives.

Along with his loving wife of 56 years, Mike is also survived by his children, Jason (Ambur) Finley of Dallas, TX, and Jessica (Brad) Krupinski of Libertyville, IL; his grandchildren, Griffin, Addy, Eve, and Emmy; and brother, Kempton (Patti) Finley.

Mike graduated from Washington High School before proudly serving his country as a United States Marine. After his service, he worked at RACO for 15 years before retiring from Hoosier Spring Co just after 25 years. Mike was a member of the American Legion Post 357 and VFW Post 9820. He also was a parishioner at St. Jude Catholic Church where he served as an Usher and Eucharistic Minister. Mike loved to swim, cheer on the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, and vacation at his favorite spot - Venice Beach, FL. He was also an avid reader and loved to learn about history. Above all, Mike loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church with a time of visitation starting at 9:00am at the church. Interment with Military Honors will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
