David Kautz Obituary

David John Kautz, 79, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

David was born on August 11, 1944 in Elkton, SD to Gerald and Myrtle (Dankert) Kautz. David was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Charles & James Kautz.

David is survived by his daughters, Dawn Williams, Dianna Francis, & Lindsay Underwood; several grandchildren & and great-grandchildren; a sister, "Terri" Theresa Chambers; brothers, Thomas Kautz & Gary Kautz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 400. David enjoyed being outdoors. His outdoor interests included duck hunting, fishing, and looking for 4 leaf clovers & Morrel mushrooms.

No services at this time, a Memorial will be held at a later date.
