Cynthia Lou (Kush) Sult

Cynthia Lou Sult, 74, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Cynthia was born on January 26, 1949 in South Bend, to the late Casimir Eugene and Virginia (Tindall) Kush. Cynthia married the love of her life in 1977, Robert Francis Sult, Sr., he preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Kush; and brother-in-law, Gene Sult.

Left to cherish the memory of Cynthia are her children, Robert Sult Jr. and Sarah (Kenny) Sult-Smith; nieces & nephews, Julie (Randy) Beckham, Bobby (Melissa) Kush, Elizabeth (Tavarse) Robinson, Ryan Sult; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Barb) Sult; sisters-in-law, Lola Sult and Jeane Kush; as well as numerous beloved friends.

Cynthia absolutely adored her family and spending as much time with them as she could. She enjoyed bingo, travelling, fishing, going to the UP and also visiting Las Vegas. Cynthia was a devout Catholic, and spent a year at the Felician Academy in Detroit. She also was a graduate from St. Joseph High School. Cynthia enjoyed watching old black and white movies and I Love Lucy. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and she had several famous dishes. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday because she was able to let her loved ones know how thankful she was for them. Above all, Cynthia loved the Lord, and she remained steadfast in her Faith.

Friends and family will be received starting at 10:00 am on Friday, November 10, 2023 with a Memorial Mass to begin at 10:30 am all at the St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 24980 IN-2, South Bend, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Cynthia Lou Sult may be made out to Traditions Hospice.
