Clasido Aguilar, 68 years old, peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family on Monday, December 23, 2024.
Clasido was born on October 5, 1956 in Santa Rosa, Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Miguel Aguilar and MA. Cruz Murillo. Clasido is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Angel Marquez; and brothers, Cristino Aguilar and Francisco Aguilar.
Left to cherish the memory of Clasido is his loving wife, Cecilia Ruiz Vargas; children, Mary Cruz Aguilar, Daniel (Kaley Green) Aguilar, Vilma (Esteban Cruz) Aguilar, Nelida Aguilar, Selena Aguilar, Theresa (Hugo Vasquez) Aguilar; Mabel (Omar) Marquez-Moreno, and Judy Marquez; grandchildren, Cecilia Flor, Gabriela, Santino, Azaleyah, Abriella, Daviea, Legaci, Esmeralda, Eli, Mauricio, Esperanza, Ayden, Andres, Anthony, Elliot, Destiny, Fabian, Jordan, Camry, Junior, Andrew, Edward, Fatima, Giovanni, Angel, Richard, Antono, D’Angelo, Miguel, and Mathew; great-grandchildren, Andres and Aria; brothers, Cruz (Eusebia) Aguilar, Andres (Socorro) Aguilar, and Monico (Guadalupe) Aguilar; and sister, Genoveva (Alberto) Aguilar.
Clasido was a strong, hardworking Husband, Father, Brother and Friend. As a loving grandpa, he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, often sharing his passion for gardening and cooking with them. His love for animals, especially his cherished chickens, brought joy not only to him but to all who knew him. Clasido was a strong believer and a Man of God, who attended Our Lady of Hungary. His joy was infectious, and his positive attitude was a source of inspiration for those around him. Clasido was also an intelligent and creative thinker. He was known for his innovative ideas that allowed him to think outside the box. He was also a skilled handyman, taking great pride in remodeling his home.
Visitation for Clasido will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, January 2, 2025 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions in honor of Clasido Aguilar may be made out to the family to help with funeral expenses.
