Christine Ann (Zelasko) Collins

Christine Ann Collins, 71 years old, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at her home in South Bend. 

Christine was born on December 7, 1952 in La Porte, to the late Louis and Marlene (Miller) Zelasko, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her nephew, Andrew Zelasko.  

Left to cherish their memory of Christine is her sister, Sandra (Don) Livinghouse; brothers, Louis (Barb) Zelasko, Jr. and Robert (Janice) Zelasko; nieces & nephews, Tyrone (Kim) Zelasko, Brandy (Jake) Anfang, Brian (Melissa) Zelasko, Allison (Ryan) Younggreen, Kara (Jimmy) Bell, and Nico (Katherine) Squadroni; and several great nieces and nephews.

Christine was a lifelong resident of South Bend. She worked at AM General and was proud to be the Union Rep for a stint. Family was most important to her. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and cousins. She especially loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews and attending their sporting events. Christine also enjoyed going to the casino, vacationing in Florida, playing in a darts league, listening to her record collection-especially Bob Seger and tinkering around in her kitchen cooking.

Visitation for Christine will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2024 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, with a Funeral Service to begin at 7:00 pm.
